The Vestitextoling originated from the continued use of sewing machines or any methods of making quilts, clothing, and so on.

It resembles a pile of different-colored clothing stitched together into a shape of a classic European dragon. Its body is made out of layers of quilts stitched together. The fabric of the cloth has materials from Earth and from an unknown source. The Borderling itself will always appear serpentine with a long snout and multiple limbs. Most of the time, the Vestitextoling will have 2 pairs of arms and one pair of legs. 53% of the time, the Borderling will have only one pair of arms and two pairs of legs. On rare occasions, 2 pairs each of its front and back limbs. Dull, conical spikes line up the Borderling's back. Two pairs of eyes have three irises and pupils each. Inside its body cavity are a series of retractable teeth made out of organic bone mixed with steel. The teeth are attached to steel hinges that are surprisingly flexible.

Pale green fluids slush around inside its body. The slime foams when it gains contact with skin and has an odor similar to cleaning detergent. Its corrosive effects will occur after 6 minutes of contact.

The Vestitextoling's fabric is impenetrable and is nearly impossible to cut open. It will swell when wet and will easily ignite when exposed to flame. In extreme temperatures, the green fluid will sizzle and evaporate within less than 7 minutes.
It speaks in a voice similar to a child 5 or 6 years in age.

An impure Vestitextoling will have ragged and torn fabric on its body and a dysfunctional digestive system.

Effect on Its Surroundings

Any living creature with eyes is lured into snuggling inside the Vestitextoling when making eye contact. Only one victim can occupy the Borderling unless it grows desperate. It allows the prey to be snug inside its soft fabric until its digestive fluids dissolve the victim. When prey does get comfortable inside the
Vestitextoling, its needle-sharp teeth will clamp down on

the victim and its digestive fluids willseep out of the gaps in the threads. Despite being eaten alive, the prey won't  put up a fight while lying comfortably inside the Borderling. They won't feel any pain and are oblivious to their surroundings. Within 25 minutes, the prey will be fully dissolved, any organic matter will convert into more slime.

Wearing a cloth mask of any kind will prevent a Vestitextoling from mesmerizing its victim.

Diet and Behavior

The Vestitextoling has a childish disposition, curious and playful. It loves to hide underneath stairs just to startle anything nearby. Their locomotion is sluggish yet calculating, like it's trying to move without tripping on its own fabric. The Vestitextoling's not active and will move 5ft (152.4cm) out of its cloth nest to explore its surroundings.

It uses deception to get a meal. When the Borderling sees an individual with a pair of eyes, it lays limp on the ground, disguising itself as a haphazard mess of soft blankets. Stitches will suddenly disappear. After digesting a meal, it grows in size. The cloth will stretch and gain more stitches as their body cavity gurgles and expands. A well-fed Vestitextoling will be at their maximum height.

When it spots an individual with no visible eyes, it loses it's predatory behavior and will act curious, following the person. It avoids being noticed, hiding behind walls and behind stairs. When the Vestitextoling gets close enough to the person, it will brush its nose, fingers, and toes against the individual's arms and legs. If the person doesn't show any eyes to the Borderling, it will lose interest and returns back to its nest.

The Vestitextoling is very timid towards aggressive human beings. Although the creature is originally docile, it will attack when cornered. The Borderling will grab the person with all its limbs and stuff them inside like a sock. Domestic Vestitextolings are more docile and protective towards mild-mannered people and pets. Hostile people will make the Borderling hide until cornered. If an individual is wearing a cloth mask or has no noticeable eyes, while attacking the Vestitextoling, it will attempt to escape to the Externus while struggling.
Feral Vestitextolings are bolder than their domestic counterparts. They will feed off of any animal or person it seduces. People with cloth masks, however, have the same effect on the Borderling.

An impure Vestitextoling will not digest food well. The Borderling can be seen in the corner of a room trying to hold its half-digested contents inside with its many arms while trying to feed. Whimpering can be heard from the Vestitextoling as it deflates gradually before crawling back into the Externus. Its form will become an unpleasant sight after one meal.

Habitat, Predation, and Interdimensional Travel

The Vestitextoling can be found in rooms where there are fabric and clothing. Warehouses, clothing and costume stores, and closets are an ideal place for the Borderling. It will manifest into our dimension in its Façade form: a squirming sock puppet with a pair of button eyes. After finding a heap of fabric, it will bury itself underneath and grow until it's a fully developed Vestitextoling.

Piles of clothing can hide the Borderling and will provide rest and regeneration. The Vestitextoling crawls around the room once every 20 minutes and spends most of the time snug in its nest of clothing. Death can occur if being attacked by an intruder, or by its own sickness. Once after its demise, it returns back into its Façade form and hurries back to its nest. A new body will generate after 2 days of rest.

In the evening, the Vestitextoling will collect another assortment of fabric and hang it up on a wall or as a nest on the floor. Closets and storage rooms are the easiest to prop up a secure nest. It will then bury itself underneath the pile and return to the Externus.
