The Oleoling originated from oils and gasoline from vehicles and other machinery. The frequent use of these oils will be enough for one of these Borderlings to manifest.

The Oleoling resembles a blob of black, chunky liquid. Its skin feels incredibly sticky and smooth. It has three pairs of barely visible legs and a long, muscular neck. The Oleoling's claws aren't sharp and have a rubbery texture. It has a smaller fake body on top that has an appearance of that of the snail. Yellow markings form circular shapes around the Borderling's head and vary on each of its own species. The markings feel like petrified wood. It has a long proboscis for a mouth for feeding.

There is no flesh inside the Oleoling, only a large, empty cavity. A large eye with a yellow iris can be seen on either the left or right side of their bulbous torso. It is resistant to water but will bubble and harden when exposed to flame.

An impure Oleoling will have bloodshot eyes and a thicker, more brittle body cavity.

Effect on Its Surroundings

When organic matter on Earth is in the Oleoling’s 6ft (182.88cm) effect radius, they will excrete beads of black liquid for the Borderling to absorb. The longer the exposure, the more fluids it will produce. In its wake, any flora and fauna will generate oils at a faster rate. This, however, won’t make them unhealthy, as their oils are quickly duplicated inside their bodies. Puddles of water will also become oily within the Borderling’s presence.

An impure Oleoling's effects towards its surroundings are weaker than their healthy counterparts and will die of starvation when on Earth.

Diet and Behavior

The Oleoling has a patient and slow-tempered demeanor. It moves with slow, undulating motions, like that of a mollusk. The Borderling leaves a thick black trail behind it, slippery to the touch.

The Oleoling feeds by lowering its neck, using its proboscis on its small head to drink. The liquid it absorbs will go inside its expandable cavity inside its lower body. When the Borderling wants to drink more fluid, but its full from its last meal, it stops moving and opens its large eye on the side of its body to 'cry' out excess liquid. The Oleoling will be in its vulnerable state when its eye is open. The eye will also watch for any predators that may attack it.

Groups of 4 or 5 Oleolings will gather together to cry oil when there are more predators nearby. Their sticky bodies are their only defense against attackers. Once they’re finished leaking out excess fluids, their eye will close shut and the Borderlings will part ways to feed again.
If the Oil Sipper doesn’t get enough oil in its body, their skin will begin to dry and split, causing a great amount of pain.

If a predator does attack the Oleolings, it immediately closes its eye and strengthens its effect on it's
A couple of Oleoling by a drainage opening, waiting for prey.
surroundings. The sludge will eventually get stuck on the predators' feet and will not move. This proves fatal to the attacker if it doesn't get any help to break free from the black filth.
The Oleoling will occasionally feed on
Antlolings because they’re filled with the succulent, pungent fluids needed to stay moist. It can go as far as chasing the other Borderling to it's hiding spot and wait there for hours until the other gives up.

An impure Oleoling will have chipped and cracked skin despite having a full meal. They strongly avoid any sources of heat and relies on cold, damp places.  This doesn't cure the Borderling of its corruption, however.

Habitat, Predation, and Interdimensional Travel

The Oleoling can be found in any place that uses oils. Car shops, factories, and heavily industrialized places will have a chance of having this kind of Borderling.

It enters our world emerging from a puddle of black sludge left by vehicles. On some occasions, the Oleoling will manifest through oily water left on roadways in suburban areas. For a couple of minutes of its stay, the Borderling appears as a small lump of a seemingly ordinary blob of oil. During 40 minutes of growth, it absorbs the oil and grows into a fully formed Borderling. Throughout most of its time on Earth, it feeds off of oils and fluids from the Antlolings to keep it hydrated.

The Oleoling thrives mostly on warm weather, around 80°F (26.6°C) In colder weather, below 50°F (10°C), it will move slower and the black substance that makes up its body will be more solid. In hotter weather, above 90°F (32.2°C), its body will boil, despite the temperature not being around boiling point. This effect on the Borderling's body will be uncomfortable and painful when in locomotion. Prolonged exposure to the heat will make the Oleoling split open, its eyeball deflating into a white milky substance. It will respawn from the corpse of its previous body the same way as it enters our Earth dimension.

The Oleoling leaves Earth by finding the nearest puddle of water and then gradually dissolve back into an oily substance. In 25 minutes, the Borderling will melt away.
