The Megaloling originated from modern societies made in groups and the existence of tall skyscrapers.

It resembles a fleshy structure with a large, heavy cube for a head. A humanoid form can be seen as the Borderling's base. On rare occasions, two false heads can be seen. The Megaloling's skin has the texture of that of stretched cowhide and will leave a pasty residue on nearby surfaces. Its enormous head makes up for most of its weight and consists of green worms tightly wrapped with a fleshy membrane.

The Megaloling's skin can absorb any damage despite it appearing like human flesh. It has a slight resistance to high temperatures and can stay in the heat without signs of deterioration. Cold temperatures, however, will make the Borderling brittle, its skin will chip and peel off from its massive body in flakes.

The Megaloling speaks in a voice so low in frequency, it cannot be heard with human ears. Its speech can be deciphered using a recording device. Its voice, when altered, will sound like a giggling child. The process will take 20 minutes to decode a word or a syllable.

An impure Megaloling has a sickly pale appearance, and its skin can be seen dropping off from its body. Due to severe fatigue, it will not hold its large head upright. The green structures will spill out from its webbing.

Effect on Its Surroundings

The Megaloling has an immense effect radius, but there's a 23% chance for the effect to happen. Whoever looks at the Borderling for 20 to 40 seconds will be transported to a pocket dimension where height and length of objects are limitless, reaching far beyond human measurement. These visitations will last a second in the Earth plane, but a whole hour in the pocket dimension. Most individuals will be transported to a single-colored cave or a field with giant, featureless structures. Others will enter an endless field with the same structures with no visible end.
People visiting these realms will have an intense sensation of fear and awe. On rare occasions, the witness
will faint and won't wake up until the Megaloling leaves the Earth's dimension. Witnesses will assume they had seen the 'afterlife', yet their descriptions will vary far from what they claim. These diverse reliefs can have harmful results. GPS signals will detect the Borderling, but the street address will become glitched.

An impure Megaloling will be reckless in transporting a human, and they will find themselves falling from an endless height. Death will follow soon after the victim returns to Earth.

Diet and Behavior

The Megaloling displays no noticeable emotions, despite not bring an inanimate-type Borderling.
It stands tall, like a large obelisk left by an unseen deity. Although there's no wind, the Borderling will slowly rock its heavy head.

It communicates each and every 500 years. Between each word, there is a 10-year pause. The single year gap between speech is when its energy frequencies don't produce pocket dimensions.
Audio recordings can only change the frequency and pitch, but not the length of the speech. Only sentient beings from the Externus, either Otherling or Borderling, will decipher the Megaloling's messages without waiting. Borderlings who have control over radio waves will use the Megaloling for communicative purposes.

There is no known diet for the Megaloling.

Habitat, Predation, and Interdimensional Travel

The Megaloling can be found next to buildings bigger than itself. They can be rare to spot, about a few can be seen around the world and even on other planets.
It will enter Earth as a stalk at first. After 2 weeks, it grows slowly and steadily to its proper height.

The Megaloling has no known predators, and it doesn't visibly interact with the world around it.

When its the Borderling's time to leave this dimension, it halts all functions. The Megaloling will crumple inwards and dissolve into fine ash, leaving the green areas behind. The material in the debris is a complete mixture of leather and granite without separation. This can be mistaken for its death, which has never been observed. After 3 minutes, the green organs will faintly glow then disappear without a trace.
