The Glucovermiling originated from the creation of the gummy worm candies and their consumption.

It resembles its namesake: small, colorful worms which are edible. In some species, they are coated with crystallized sugar. Each worm has a different pattern, mostly decorated with colorful stripes and spots. Larger worms have strong jaws and more complex patterns on their bodies. Their horns are individual worms and can vary between each creature.
There are two types of Glucovermiling: with pointed tips and with rounded tips.

Each group of Glucovermilings lives in gourds of the same color and texture. The insides of their temporary living spaces are unknown. Each worm varies in taste, from sweet to sour. Their odor can be described as sugary and like citrus.

The color of Glucovermiling's flesh and skin varies and can be either jelly or thick slime. Every worm taste as normal as the candy they imitate.

The Glucovermiling communicates using body language, tensing and undulate their bodies. Verbal communication is infrequent and consists of hissing and 'yawning'. Their yawning is a form of threat to other predators.

An impure Glucovermiling will have rotting brown patches on its body and will have an acrid smell of expired fruit. They can't keep their bodies intact, their insides will always spill out with blunt force.

Effect on Its Surroundings

The Glucovermiling has an Effect Radius in the form of temptation. When a group of smaller worms is nearby, anyone with a craving for artificial sweets won't resist eating this type of Borderling. 30 minutes after consumption, the host will see hallucinations while the worms grow inside the stomach. 2 hours after consumption, the worms will grow to full height and are able to control the host. The victim, in it's zombified state, will regurgitate smaller worms as he/she heads towards the worms' breeding grounds.

Once the host arrives at their destination, they will vomit the fully grown Glucovermiling, which will immediately make its own nest. A new nest will always be 50 feet (5024.0cm) away from the host. The controlled human will faint shortly after and will wake up in 3 hours, dehydrated and disoriented. They must drink sweetened water as soon as possible. Not doing so will make the person severely ill.
Its effect on animals depends if the animal has interest in eating sweet foods and the appeal of vibrantly colored worms. Ants are attracted to the Glucovermiling, but they will count as an annoyance and a free meal.

An impure horde of Glucovermilings will have the same side effect, but the ill person's stomach lining will liquify from the rot.

Diet and Behavior

The Glucovermiling is usually docile, yet bold. Because of their fearless demeanor, those type of Borderlings is not afraid to be eaten by anyone. Both the locomotion of the large and smaller species undulate and crawl at a slow pace, like the earthworms in the Earth's dimension.

They form a basic hivemind. All the Lesser Worms work in unison with each other and the larger Greater Worm will control them from their base. 5% of the time, the Hivemind will consist of two Greater Worms.

The Glucovermiling's first method on being consumed is to replace contents out of snack bags and crawl inside. After eating the entirety of the bag, the Borderlings will rest and wait inside. Once after the feast, they secrete a waxy substance that will seal any openings around the bag.

If an individual has enough willpower to resist eating a Glucovermiling, they will follow them without tiring. They will grow desperate in time and will sometimes crawl into

a host's mouth while they sleep. They wander from their hive in groups of 20 to 30 without signs of stopping. After they arrived at the host's living space, the Borderlings gather in places where were sugary foods are kept. Any dirt and debris from their travels slide off their bodies, making them spotless.

Healthier Glucovermiling will show signs of panic when a corrupted counterpart of the Borderling is nearby. Smaller worms will run to their nearest hive, allowing the Greater Worm to attack aggressively by swinging their horns and gnashing their teeth. The rot from the other worms is only contagious to their healthier counterparts.

Habitat, Predation, and Interdimensional Travel

The Glucovermiling can be found in or on stores that sell candies and other artificial sweeteners. Snack stores and gas stations are ideal places for the Borderlings. These Borderlings enter the Earth dimension through rifts that resemble large globs of colorful syrup.
Once settled on Earth, the Greater Worms will make their nests in their appropriate places. Storage rooms are the ideal place for a Glucovermiling to settle. After 10 minutes, the Greater Worms will regurgitate lesser Worms of their own species. These worms will spread in all directions, looking for hosts. The Greater Worms won't return to the Externus until after a group of 60 smaller worms was consumed.

Before it's the time to return to their dimension, the Worms will return to their master and eat their own hive before crawling down into the nothingness. The Greater Worms will always make it back to the Externus; however, Any Lesser Worms that didn't make it will become ill. They won't survive for another 7 minutes. Their corpse will dissolve into a brown mush, their odor will become extremely unpleasant.
